Residential HVAC Design
For many years now, competent duct design has allowed the industry to furnish homes with properly sized ducting, and equipment in relation to housing materials and regional climate. Most jurisdictions require planned systems using specially-tailored software. In an effort to provide the best experience and keep costs down, we are able to create these duct designs in-house. With this service on-hand, we can make adjustments as needed, per builder/contractor/homeowner request, and blueprint changes.
The Process
Client submits a request with the plans and REScheck attached
Our team will acknowledge the request and confirm a few things
Register and trunk line layout
Equipment placement
Desired equipment brand
Any other additional selections (zoning, humidifier, etc.)
We will complete the Manual JDS, followed by calculating pricing, and verify requisite packet info with client
An invoice will be sent. Once paid for, the duct design will be sent to the client as a PDF
We allow clients to request minor changes for up to 7 days after receiving the design. Any major adjustments or alterations after the 7-day grace period will be subject to additional pricing.
-
We charge an incremental rate based on square footage and total number of systems. Incidental items, such as zoning, dedicated systems, or square footage over the incremental rate are not included in the base price.
-
With builders and contractors as our biggest clients, we’re familiar with large-scale jobs, and the planning and designing involved. Homeowner projects, while typically more modest in scope, still demand the best solutions we have to offer.
-
Once a request is acknowledged, we make it a priority to submit a design to the client as soon as possible. Our goal is to deliver the design to the client within 48 hours after payment is received.
